Windermere Golf Club is situated in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage English Lake District National Park. We're extremely proud to be highly rated by National recognised publications Golf World, Todays Golfer, and National Club Golfer. We've made three of their "top golf course" lists including the Top 100 most enjoyable courses to play (number 35 in the whole of the UK & Ireland & 9th England, the top 100 golf courses to play for under £65.00 (number 65 Great Britain & Ireland, and the top 200 best golf courses in England (ranked 168th) putting us in the best 8% of golf courses in the Country. Despite our tranquil setting, we're less than 5 minutes from the bustling town of Bowness on Windermere and only 1.5 miles from the shore of Lake Windermere. Established in 1891, our course is steeped in history and offers a unique challenge to golfers of all abilities whilst offering spectacular and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
