On-line tee times can be booked up to 3 days in advance for weekends and 3 days in advance for weekdays.

Please Note - No Food Available After 3pm

Please Note - No Catering or bar on Christmas Day and Boxing Day as Clubhouse is closed

The following Terms and Conditions apply for booking tee times when using our Internet booking facility. On-line tee times can be booked up to 7 days in advance for weekends and 3 days in advance for weekdays.

Payment:
To book a tee time on-line you will be required to pay a deposit of just £10 per person, either by debit or credit card, and pay the remaining balance by any method upon your arrival at the Professionals’ Shop. On arrival at the Golf Club you will need to report to the Professionals’ Shop with your unique booking reference number to pay any outstanding money and collect your scorecard and bag tags.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation of your booking can only be carried out by contacting the club either by ‘phone (01273 419738) or via email ([email protected]) quoting your unique reference number to receive a full refund of your deposit by giving the Club a minimum 48 hours’ notice of your cancellation. If you cancel your tee time with less than 48 hours’ notice, or fail to arrive, then your deposit will be non-refundable.

Refunds:
Should the course be declared closed by the Management on account of bad weather and you have yet to tee-off you will be offered a full refund. If the course is declared closed by the Management during play, then you will be offered a 50% discount voucher towards your next round of golf. West Hove Golf Club will not tolerate any threatening, violent behaviour, be it verbal or physical or any other behaviour that the management deems inappropriate towards staff, members or visitors, either on the golf course or in the Clubhouse and its surrounds.
If such an incidence occurs the Management reserves the right to ask the customer to leave the premises AT ANY TIME, without refunding their money, or part thereof, and should it be felt necessary the customer will be banned from returning.

Booking transferable:
The Booking is Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can transfer the tee time to another golfer.

Handicaps:
Handicap certificates are not required to play at West Hove Golf Club. We welcome new players but West Hove is a challenging course, and we advise them to play at quieter times during the week or late afternoons at the weekend.

Etiquette and Dress on the Golf Course:
When playing on the golf course each player must have their own set of clubs (golf clubs are available to hire from the Professionals’ Shop if required) and abide by the following dress code:

On the Golf Course: In general, clothing which is available from a golf professional’s shop will be acceptable and golf shoes must be worn at all times. However, the following are not acceptable on the Golf Course;
(a) trainers and jeans
(b) cargo and/or combat shorts
(c) beach-type shorts, track suits or shell suits
(d) football shirts or shorts
(e) shirts with large legends/logos on the back or front
(f) sleeveless vests and/or sun-tops of any type.

In the Clubhouse: Smart casual wear must be worn at all times. However, the following are examples of dress that are not acceptable in the Clubhouse;
(a) football shirts, football shorts and shirts with large legends/logos (back or front)
(b) sleeveless vests, track suits, shell suits, denim jackets or wet/dirty clothing
(c) jeans which are frayed, patched, torn or excessively dyed
(d) golf shoes (except in the changing rooms or spikes bar) or stockinged feet
(e) plastic or rubber “flip-flops”
(f) hats.

There may be other unacceptable items which in the opinion of a Golf Committee member, Board member or member of Staff are not acceptable. Anybody found not suitably attired may be asked to leave the Golf Course and/or Clubhouse.

Slow Play: At West Hove GC we have a policy in place to avoid slow play and all golfers are required to adhere to it. All players must be at the 1st tee ten minutes prior to their allocated tee time. We allow 2 hours per 9 holes and should you find you are falling behind, and are able to do so, please allow the group behind to pass through.

Privacy Policy: Any personal information we obtain whilst you make use of our website will not be passed on to any third party. The Company though, may from time to time send you via email, post or ‘phone, information which you may find of interest.
