The Return of Golf

Golf is back in England from 29 March! To help our English clubs get ready for this much-anticipated date, BRS Golf has a quick checklist of items that will help ensure our technology seamlessly services your members and visitors.
1. Configure your timesheet
Clubs with an updated timesheet are better positioned to make the most of golf’s return, resulting in more bookings and more visitors to your course. You can configure your timesheet within BRS by going to: Tools >> Configure the timesheet
You can also view our help tutorial on configuring the timesheet by logging into BRS and clicking here.
2. Enable your online rates now
Make sure you have tee time rates posting from today. In 2020 we saw a huge shift towards golfers booking further in advance online. Capitalise on the excitement of golf returning by having tee times available to book ahead of 29 March. You can update your online rates within BRS by going to: Tools >> Green Fee Rates for Visitors/Agents
You can view our help tutorial on updating online green fee rates by logging into BRS and clicking here. Some things to bear in mind when updating your rates:
Do you have 9-hole rates?
We have seen a massive spike in shorter forms of golf, with families, people new to the game and those returning to the sport again keen to play nine holes.
Longer evenings mean twilight golf
Does your club’s twilight offering give golfers enough time to complete 18 holes?
3. Update member casual booking rules!
To ensure your members are able to book from the 29 March you will need to double check you have the correct booking rules configured. These rules can be updated within BRS by going to: Tools >> Member Casual Booking Rules
You can view our help tutorial on editing member booking rules by logging into BRS and clicking here.
4. Use the course restriction tool
This handy tool helps you restrict tee time bookings when necessary for both members and visitors. Clubs can update the restriction tool within BRS by going to: Tools >> Course Restriction
You can view our help tutorial on the course restriction tool by logging into BRS and clicking here. If you need any help with any of these steps then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team. Visit our Support Page.
