Tain Golf Club, Chapel Road, Tain, Ross-Shire, IV19 1JE TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our online booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. An advance payment of £20 per person will be required to secure an online booking. Any provisional enquiries will be held on the system for 14 days, after which the tee time may be released unless a deposit has been received. When you turn up for your round of golf, you can choose to pay the balance by cash instead of credit card. You should report to the pro shop before beginning your round. If the pro shop is closed, please report to the club office or bar. Cancellation Policy =================== Any cancellations which are received more than 28 days prior to the date of play will have the green fee refunded less the non refundable deposit paid. Cancellations received between 7-28 days in advance will result in 50% of the green fee being refunded less the non refundable deposit paid. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance will be non-refundable and any balance on green fees will be due. In the event of situations outwith our own control: such as delayed or cancelled flights we will endeavour to make alternative arrangements but this cannot be guaranteed. We strongly recommend that all golfers take out adequate insurance to cover any eventuality. If caddies have been booked the cancellation of caddies must be notified 24 hours in advance, otherwise a cancellation charge of £10 per caddy will be made. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/debit card and your deposit will be refunded. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= Handicap certificates are NOT a requirement when you check-in. Previous experience of playing golf is required and the proper etiquette should be adhered to at all times. Dress Code ========== Dress Code – smart casual, no team colours. Spikes ====== Spikes may be worn. Golf Buggies The club has 4 buggies that can be booked. If you require a buggy, you should enter this in the booking form. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01862892314.
