These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using the online booking facility of Rothbury Golf Club Ltd.
Payment
=======
Payment will be taken at the time of booking. To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on line payment process. You should print off or make a note of your booking reference as this will be required on your arrival at the Club.
Arrival
=======
You should report to the Clubhouse (Bar) before beginning your round.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
============================
You can cancel your booking by contacting Rothbury Golf Club Ltd by email,
[email protected] or telephone, 01669 621271, Please remember your booking details will be required to confirm the cancellation.
If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play, there will be a full refund made to your credit/debit card.
If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance, only 50% of the green fee will be refunded via your credit/debit card.
Failure To Cancel Your Booking

If you fail to cancel your booking, or cancel less than 24 hours in advance of play, there will be no refund of the green-fee made to your credit/debit card.
Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of the payment made. It is recommended, on those days of inclement weather, you check in advance to ensure no course restrictions are in force.
Booking Transferable
====================
The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. In such circumstances it would be helpful if you could contact the Club via one of the aforementioned contact points.
Handicaps
=========
Handicap certificates are required for all Open Competitions, but are not required for general play. However, players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and the enjoyment of those players on the course at the same time.
Dress Code
==========
Recognised and approved golf clothing must be worn; footwear must be of spike or rubber sole type, smart casual shirts with collar attached or roll-neck and should be tucked into trousers or skirt unless of short tailored variety. Tailored shorts are acceptable provided they are worn with sports socks. Ladies are excused from wearing socks with shorts.
'T' shirts, track suits, shell suits, football shirts and blue denim jeans are not acceptable on the course. Golf shoes are not permitted in the Clubhouse other than in locker rooms.
There is no formal dress code for the Clubhouse, but it is expected all visitors adhere to a common sense approach by ensuring a smart casual appearance in keeping with the disciplines exercised on the course.
