TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility at Powerscourt Golf Club. Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Payment will be charged to your card on completion of the online booking. When you turn up for your round of golf, you must present a printed copy of your online booking to the Golf Shop prior to beginning your round. Please be aware that if you are booking as a 1-ball, 2-ball or 3-ball, Powerscourt Golf Club reserves the right to add other players to your booking especially on busy days without prior notice. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking outside of 48 hours on the web site by entering your unique ref number. A full refund of the green fee charged will be returned to your credit card. Please note that it may take up to 10 days to process this refund. If you cancel your booking within 48 hours or fail to show on the day, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee. Failure to Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather, frost, health & safety grounds), your green fee will be refunded to your credit card. Please note that it may take up to 10 days to process this refund. Frost Delay ========== If there is a frost delay in excess of 1 hour of your original tee time then you may reschedule for another date or request a full refund of green fee which will be returned to your credit card. Please note that it may take up to 10 days to process this refund. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. GUI/ILGU card is required for entry into all competitions. Dress Code ========== Powerscourt Golf Club aims to operate a contemporary and forward-thinking dress policy, commensurate with a modern day golf club. It is in all our interests to maintain standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions. Golfers at Powerscourt should therefore be aware that the following are required standards that must be adhered to both on the golf course and in the clubhouse. ON THE GOLF COURSE • Neat, casual wear only permitted. • Tailored shorts may be worn with appropriate sports socks. • Trouser legs must not be tucked into socks. • Hats and caps must be worn as they were designed. • Golf shoes with soft spikes must be worn IN THE CLUBHOUSE • Neat casual wear must be worn in the clubhouse at all times. • Golf shoes, baseball caps or hats,track suit tops or bottoms, sleeveless vest or tops (gents), football & cycle shorts are not permitted in the bar/restaurant areas. • Holdalls or golf shoes are not to be discarded at the bottom of the stairs or inside the doors in the main lounge. Members & Visitors are asked to be aware entry to bar/ restaurant without suitable foot attire is a breach of the Club Dress Code. • The clubhouse has every facility required for changing into and from golfing apparel & changing in the car park is not recommended. • Tailored Denim jeans with no fade or tears are permitted in the clubhouse. • We recommend that mobile phones should be switched to “silent”, when in the bar/restaurant areas. Should you wish to take a call please use the foyer or the balcony areas to do so. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to the Clubs Dress Code. Spikes ====== Please note that metal spikes are not permitted on either the East or West Course at Powerscourt. Slow Play ======== All visitors are asked to please avoid slow play at all times and to adhere to any directions from the Course Ranger. Course Swop =========== Powerscourt Golf Club reserve the right to swop your booking from either The East or West Course’s without prior notice. First Aid ========= A first aid box and defibrillator are located at the reception desk in the golf club lobby Golf Buggies Golf Buggy & Powakaddy Trolleys Available For Hire   Please Note Golf Buggies Are Available All Year Round But in Some Instances The Golf Buggies Are Permitted on Cart Paths Only. Visitors Intending on Bringing Their Own Golf Buggy to Powerscourt Golf Club Must Get Permission in Advance By Contacting The Golf Manager on 01 204 6033 Pre – booking of Hire Items is Advisable.
