This service allows you to book a tee time at our golf course online and get instant
on-screen and email confirmation of your booking.
Green Fee Rates
Please note we are fully booked for August / September 2025.
We welcome visitors to Portmarnock from 1st April to 31st October and we close to visitors from 1st November to 31st March.

Sunday: 12:00 – 15:00 (April, July, August) 13:00 – 16:00 (May, June, September)

Standard 2026 Green Fee Rates
18 hole rate: €475 / Includes lunch /
27 Hole Rate: €580 / Includes lunch /
36 Hole Rate: €665 / Includes lunch /
Please note Portmarnock Golf Club is a walking course. In order to protect the links ground and ensure it is maintained to the highest standards, Buggies are not available for visitors to use. Buggies are reserved for Members only based on very strict requirements and adherence to club rules which ensures the protection of the course.
Maximum Handicap Index requirements are Ladies 36 / Men 24. (Handicap certificates maybe required on check in)
Terms and Conditions:
It is policy of our club that we receive full payment of the total Green fee at the time of reservation to secure the booking.
All cancellations / changes must be confirmed in writing by email. All Green fees, including Green fee deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
We regret that we cannot offer refunds due to delayed/cancelled flights or travel plans, personal injury or illness. For this reason, we strongly recommend visiting golfers have travel insurance to cover this eventuality.
Alteration of booking
Subject to availability, tee times can be moved to an alternative date within the same calendar year of the original booking. Should the Green Fee increase the difference will be charged.
Portmarnock Golf Club reserves the right to alter or amend tee time reservations.
Please note singles and 2balls need to contact the club to book as they will be paired up for pace of play. Please note the following mandatory booking rules:
• It is mandatory for all visiting groups of 3 or more to have a forecaddie as a minimum, this will be automatically added to your reservation.
• If Single caddies are booked we will make every effort to fulfil your requests but cannot guarantee single caddies at all times.
• Caddies are not employees of the club and as independent contractors must be paid in cash directly on the day of play and cannot be invoiced via the club.
Please note we do not have ATM at our premises.
Players will be paired up for pace of play,The Club reserves the right to add more golfers to a tee-time to make a fourball.
Caddy Costs:
Single Bag €80 Forecaddie €110
Gratuity is in addition to the above prices and at the players discretion.
Rental Clubs and Electric Trollies are available for rent from the Pro Shop and must be booked in advance.
Rental sets are €60 per set and Electric Trollies are €20.
These can be paid for on the day in the Pro Shop.
Pull Trollies are also available from the Pro Shop for €5 and do not need to be booked in advance.
Mobile Phones:
Are restricted to members of the medical profession on call. Please switch your mobile phone off both on the Links and in the Clubhouse. Use of mobile phones inside your car is permitted.
Filming and Video Content
At Portmarnock Golf Club, we encourage our visiting guests to enjoy their round and are happy for you to capture personal memories through photos and videos for private use.
However, any filming or video recording intended for commercial purposes, including but not limited to content for social media promotion, influencer marketing, sponsored posts, or brand collaborations, is strictly prohibited on the golf course and within the clubhouse without prior written approval from the Club.
We kindly ask that all requests for commercial filming be submitted in advance for consideration. The Club reserves the right to request the removal of any content published without appropriate authorisation.
Dress code:
Our dress code reflects the long standing tradition and high standard of excellence for which the Club is known.
Portmarnock Golf Club has a long tradition of values that have been passed down through the decades by our early founders in 1894. This tradition incorporates respect for the course and fellow golfers.
We ask all golfers to respect this by adhering to the following:
On the Course & Practice Areas
Appropriate golf clothing should be worn at all times on the course and practice areas. Golf trousers, tailored shorts with socks, skorts, collared shirts/tops or appropriate mock and turtle neck shirts/tops are considered appropriate.
In the Clubhouse An appropriate standard of dress is required at all times. Smart casual clothes and golf attire, including tailored shorts, clean soft spiked golf shoes, can be worn throughout the clubhouse.
Waterproof garments are only permitted in the lobby area and locker rooms. Headgear should always be removed in the clubhouse
Attire that is not permitted on the course or in the clubhouse includes sports jerseys, jeans, track-suits or similar wear, beach shorts, uncollared or sleeveless tee-shirts.
At club functions (lunches or dinners), gentlemen are expected to wear jacket and tie,except when discrete guidance is given. Ladies are expected to wear appropriate clothing representative of the function or event.
Gentleman are expected to wear a jacket and tie in the Pickeman Room and ladies are expected to wear appropriate clothing for a formal social event.
In the Pickeman Room at all times of the day, gentleman are expected to wear a jacket and tie and ladies are expected to wear clothing appropriate to the setting.
