Green Fee Rates

COVID 19 Protocols.
Please adhere to all government protocols when considering to visit Portmarnock Golf Club as we strictly enforce all protocols. Please visit www.gov.ie for the latest advise regarding COVID 19 restrictions and contact us if you have any questions in relation to the protocols.

*Please note that we do not guarantee the full Championship course currently as our three nines are rotated to carry out necessary course maintenance.


Standard Green Fee Rate:
Weekday: €250
Weekend (Friday-Sunday): €275


Winter Rate (November 1st to March 31st):
Weekday: €145*

27 Hole Rate:
Weekday: €300 (This rate is subject to availability)
Weekend: €325 (This rate is subject to availability)

36 Hole Weekday Rate:
Monday - Thursday: €400 (This rate is subject to availability)
Friday: €425 (This rate is subject to availability)


The 27 hole options can only be booked directly through the office. Please email [email protected] if you would like to enquire about 27 hole options.

Terms and Conditions:
It is policy of our club that we receive full payment of the total Greenfee at the time of reservation to secure the booking.


Refund Policy:

All Greenfees, are non-refundable.

In extenuating circumstances, should your game need to be cancelled please detail the reason in writing to [email protected] . Consideration will be given to issuing you credit to the value of the fee paid to be used within 12 months of the cancellation being notified. All cancellation requests will only be considered at least 31 days in advance of play.

Please note:

•  All singles/twosomes that are booked during times permitted will be automatically paired up,
•  All groups of 3 players or more must have a fore caddie as a minimum and will be automatically added to your reservation.
•  All caddies are to be paid in cash directly on the day of play and cannot be invoiced.
•  Details of our dress code for golfers are on our website and detailed below, all golfers are reminded to adhere to these.
•  All Greenfees include complimentary use of our practice facilities and range balls.

Course and Clubhouse Etiquette

We want all players to enjoy their experience at Portmarnock and we ask that you give the appropriate consideration to fellow players and to the course.

DRESS CODE RULES:

Portmarnock is a traditional and conservative Golf Club and accordingly, attire should reflect this ethos. All members, guests and visitors are required to adhere to the following:

On The Links:

Shirts must have collars, sleeves, be clean and tucked in at all times.Vests,tee shirts (without collar/sleeves), training shoes, jeans and denim wear and track suits are not permitted.

Trousers and shorts must be tailored. Tailored shorts should be approximately knee – length, but not below the knee. Three quarter length shorts, cargo shorts, army style shorts with large side pockets, and athletic shorts with draw strings or elastic waistbands are not permitted.

Stockings worn with tailored shorts can be either long knee-length stockings or shorter sports socks.

In the Clubhouse:

Any type of footwear, shorts or head wear worn on the Links is not allowed in the Clubhouse, except for the Locker Rooms and The President’s Bar.

The Bradshaw Room: Smart casual wear is acceptable. It must be clean and tidy, and in keeping with the high standards of the Clubhouse. Business shoes or smart casual footwear is acceptable. The wearing of shorts, caps, training shoes and shoes without socks is not acceptable.

President’s Room/Pickeman Room: Jacket and tie must be worn in the President’s Dining Room and Pickeman Room after 7:00PM.


Access to the Links/Clubhouse:

Please note a barrier system is in operation all visitors must stop at the right hand pillar at the entrance to the course, and use the intercom system for access.

Mobile Phones:

Are restricted to members of the medical profession on call. Please switch your mobile phone off both on the Links and in the Clubhouse. Use of mobile phones inside your car is permitted.


Caddy Guidelines:

Caddies are available and need to be requested in advance.  Please note that caddies are not employees of the club and they are not guaranteed, they are subject to availability on the day. It is club policy that all groups of three or more golfers playing before 09:01 on a weekday must take at least one forecaddie. This is for speed of play purposes.

Motorised Golf Carts / Buggy’s

The use of golf carts is strictly not allowed, Portmarnock is a walking course. Use of Golf Carts MAY only be authorised on presentation of a valid medical certificate and in exceptional circumstances.
