Welcome to the Nelson Golf Club Internet Tee Time Reservation Service. This service allows you to book a tee time at our golf course over the Internet and get instant on-screen and email confirmation of your booking.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our
online booking facility.

WINTER PRESERVATION RULES 
=========================

Please note that commencing from the 1st of November until the 31st of March our winter preservation policy will be applicable.

All balls from the fairway must be played off a mat or alternatively placed into the semi rough (1 meter in).  Once closer to the green, white markers on both sides of the fairway will indicate that you may play your ball from its current position (on the fairway) to pitch, chip or putt without the necessary need of moving the ball into the rough.

Through winter carrying is encouraged, electric trollies can be used but must be fitted with winter wheels.  Winter wheels does not apply to standard push/pull trollies.

From time to time during poor periods of weather a carry only policy may be in operation as a pose to closing the golf course when boarder line.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR 2023 OPENS ARE ONLY ACCESSIBLE TO THOSE COMPETITING FROM A RECOGNISED AFFILIATED GOLF CLUB.  iGOLF MEMBERS PLEASE REFER TO OUR iGOLF MEMBERSHIP ONLY OPENS.

Payment
=======
To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.
Payment will be taken immediately from your card at the time of booking.

Refund/ Cancellation Policy
===================
You may cancel your booking on the website by entering your unique
booking reference number.

If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play,
there will be no charge made to your credit/debit card.

If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance no refunds will be accepted.

Failure To Cancel Your Booking
==============================
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of
the green fee made to your credit/debit card.

Course Closure
==============
Please check on the day of play if the course is open - you can do this by viewing our course status application on the home page of our website (www.nelsongolfclub.com) or by contacting the proshop after 9am on 01282 611834 option 3.

If you are unable to play due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather) a full refund or alternate date will be given.

Handicaps
=========
To avoid slow play and for the enjoyment of all, it is expected that each player has an acceptable level of playing ability and a good knowledge of the rules of golf and etiquette/behaviour on a golf course. If you are in doubt, please speak with the Professional.

Dress Code
==========
Golf course and practice areas
==============================

A tidy appearance is require.

Recognised standard attire: includes polo shirts, jumpers, trousers, tailored shorts and golf shoes.

For both gents and ladies: golf wear purchased from a golf retailer that is designed for playing golf is acceptable.

If in doubt please ask in the pro shop but chinos and a polo shirt usually does the trick.

Clubhouse
=========

Smart casual dress: this applies at all times except for specific functions.

Smart jeans and trainers are allowed.

Tailored shorts may be worn with socks.

Outdoor coats must be removed and hung in the cloakrooms.

No golf shoes or caps to be worn.

Golf Buggies

Buggies are available to book and reserve on request, We currently have two buggies available for hire. *Please note that during the winter months commencing from the 2nd of November the buggies will be out of use
