Member Terms and Conditions
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility.
Payment
=======
Murcar Links Golf Club requests payment in full at the time of booking for all tee times.
Please note the full entry fee will be taken for Open Competition Entries.
For bookings we accept all major Debit/Credit Cards. Cheques should be made payable to “Murcar Links Golf Club”.
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. If you book via telephone your credit/debit card details will be taken for deposit payment purposes and will then be destroyed in compliance with the Data Protection Act.
Caddies
=======
The Club can provide caddies and any requests should be added into the notes.
Cancellations of caddies within 24 hours of tee times will be liable for the full payment.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
============================
You can cancel your booking by contacting Murcar Links by email,
[email protected] or telephone, 01224 704354.
In the event of a booking being cancelled, the club reserve the right to keep the green fee payable to cover administration costs, whether a deposit or full payment has been taken in advance.
Failure To Cancel Your Booking
==============================
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.
Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/debit card.
Open Competitions
=================
Please supply a valid CDH Number in the 'Other Requirements' Box. Open competitors must have a valid, competitive CONGU handicap. Bookings made by players without a valid handicap will not be accepted as an Open entry.
The Full entry fee will be taken at time of booking. Refunds will only be given if we can get the vacated space filled.
Handicaps
=========
This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don’t have a handicap you must be able to play to an equivalent standard.
Dress Code
==========
We try to create as informal an atmosphere as possible, but we do have a dress code for members and visitors on both courses.
Smart, casual dress, tailored shorts, suitable recognised golf wear.
No football shirts, tracksuits or denim jeans.
Golf shoes must be worn on the course. Golf shoes with spikes are acceptable.
