1.)Terms and conditions for booking tee times using our internet booking facility.

Payment
=======
To book a tee time online you will have to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure online payment process.
Full payment will be taken at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
===================
You may cancel your booking on the web site by entering your unique
reference number.
If you cancel your booking more than one week before your date of play,
the green fee(s) will be refunded in full to your credit/debit card.
If you cancel your booking within one week of your date of play, a refund of 50% of the green fee(s) will be made to your credit/debit card.
If you cancel within 48 hours of your booking no refund will be given
Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play because the course is closed (e.g. due to bad weather), your green fee(s) will be refunded in full.
Booking Transferable
====================
The booking is completely transferable. Should you be unable
to make your tee time, a third party such as a family member or friend may take your place so long as they are able to meet these terms and conditions.
Fairway Mats
============
The use of fairway mats is compulsory on all holes from the 1st December during the winter months. Visitors may bring their own or hire from the Professional Shop @ £1 each a deposit of £5 is also payable which will be refunded when the mat is returned.
Handicaps
=========
Visitors are required to have a handicap and may be asked to show a handicap certificate as proof.
Buggies and Trolleys
========================
Buggies are hired in advance of a booking in good faith at the time of making a reservation.
Buggies must be booked by individual players and the full cost paid prior to play.
A decision is made at the start of each day by the Head Greenkeeper regarding the use of Buggies and trolleys which may alter as the day progresses.The Head Greenkeeper's decision is final and will be based on the safety and welfare of all players.
A maximum of 2 people are allowed per buggy and each buggy must be kept well away from the greens, surrounding area and tees.
There are a limited number of buggies available so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Course Rules and Etiquette

The rules of golf must be adhered to at all times.
Help maintain the quality of the course by repairing pitch marks, replacing diverts and raking bunkers.
Local rules are on the scorecard.
Greenkeepers have priority when working on the course.
Dress Code
==========
Course
Shirts must have sleeves and a collar and must be tucked into the trousers at all times. Replica football shirts or similar are not permitted, nor are track suit tops.
Gentlemen must wear tailored trousers or tailored shorts. Jeans (real or look-alike), track suit bottoms and sports shorts are not permitted.
Golf shoes (metal or soft spikes) are required. Knee length or appropriate sports socks (above ankle length) are to be worn with shorts.
Players competing in the Festival Trophy are required to wear jacket and tie, at all other times jacket and tie is not obligatory.

Clubhouse
As above, with the following exceptions/additions:
Golf, training or any kind of sports shoes may NOT be worn in the Clubhouse.
Headwear is not permitted.
Liability

Manchester Golf Club Ltd cannot accept responsibility for accidents, injury or misadventure.
Players are responsible for their own insurance arrangements in respect of any injuries caused to them, or caused by them to a third party.
Manchester Golf Club cannot accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to property belonging to any users.
2.)Terms and Conditions - Golf Societies

Booking and Non-Refundable Deposits
====================================
Bookings are only guaranteed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £10 per player which must be received at the time of booking
Manchester Golf Club reserves the right to cancel a society booking if the full deposit has not been received in advance.
The account must be settled 14 days before the date of play.
A society deposit cannot be refunded but can be transferred to another date if a minimum of 14 days notice is given to Manchester Golf Club.
If a society fails to show on the booked date, no refunds will be considered under any circumstances.
Final numbers must be confirmed 14 days before the event. Any additional participants will be charged at the agreed rates.

Weather Conditions
==================
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the Head Greenkeeper will make the final decision regarding the availability of the course. If the course is deemed to be unplayable then a new booking date will be agreed between Manchester Golf Club and the society.
Deposits will not be refunded.

Dress Code

Players must wear appropriate golf attire at all times whilst on the course.
Visitors must wear a minimum standard of smart casual clothing in the clubhouse.
The changing of shoes on the car park is not allowed. Please use the locker rooms.

3.) TERMS AND CONDITIONS FUNCTIONS AND MEETNGS

The following terms and conditions apply to Manchester Golf Club
Bookings are at the discretion of The Manchester Golf Club whose decision shall be final in all matters concerning the booking. Bookings will not be confirmed until a signed application has been received on the prescribed form and the specified security deposit paid. Receipt of deposit constitutes full agreement to all terms and conditions stated.
The full specified deposit shall be paid to confirm your booking prior to your event. All remaining balance payments must be paid as per payment terms detailed in clause 3. Failure to do so may result in loss of reservation and cancellation charges applying as per clause 4.

Cancellation Terms
There will be no Refunds made for any Cancellation of Events.
Premises should be left in reasonable condition. Should additional cleaning be necessary or damage/loss occurs the hirer shall pay the venue the amount requested to make good or remedy any such loss or damage.
All prices/charges are inclusive of VAT unless specified. If the rate of VAT increases the venue has the right to change prices accordingly.
The Hirer is responsible for the actions and consequences of all their guests, employees and sub-contractors.
The finishing time stated shall be the time when the function room(s) shall be cleared and the Hirers guests vacate the venue, not when the function ceases.
No bolts, nails, screws, tacks, drawing pins, sellotape shall be fixed to any part of the premises, nor shall place cards, banners or smaller articles be fixed either internally or externally without prior written consent of the venue.
No inflammable, dangerous or offensive article or any animal (other than registered guide dogs) shall be brought onto the premises without written consent of the venue
No person under the age of 18 shall be permitted to purchase or consume intoxicating drinks.
The venue reserves the right to conclude any function which, in its opinion, is unsuitable or not properly conducted and in such cases, no part of the payment shall be returned whatsoever.
13. All arrangements regarding the hirers requirements (i.e. final numbers of guests, menus, layouts etc.) shall be confirmed to the venue not less than 14 days prior to the date of booking. Charges will be based on these minimum numbers or if greater, the actual attendees.
The venue reserves the right to change menu content under reasonable circumstances and on notification to the hirer
