These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line you will have to pay using your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. Green Fee Bookings:- When you turn up for your round of golf, you should report to the Pro shop before beginning your round. If the Pro shop is closed, you should call in after your round is complete. Open Event Bookings:- When you turn up for your round of golf, you should report to the Registration Desk before beginning your round. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking on the web site by entering you unique ref number. If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play, there will be a refund made to your credit/debit card. If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance, there will be a refund of 50% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a no refund of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), a refund will be made to your credit/debit card. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. For Open Events a current handicap certificate will be required. Dress Code ========== Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies. The following are therefore not permitted: denims, shorts, football/rugby tops, .... The following dress rules apply to the course and practise area. * When wearing shorts, appropriate sports sock must be worn and these may be long or short. They must be niether soccer nor rugby type socks and must be of smart appearance. * Ladies ae not not permitted to wear sun tops, but may wear sleeveless tops with a collar or high neck or collarless tops with sleeves * Men's shirts must be worn tucked into trousers or shorts. Trousers must not be tucked intosocks unless speically designed to be worn e.g. plus 2's or plus 4's. * Golf shoes must be worn on the ocures (with the exception of under 12 year olds) Spikes ====== Soft spikes will be compulsory for Hessle Golf Club from 1st April to 31st October. Non Members, Visitors and Societies are requested to wear soft spikes during this period. Visitors in breach of this dress code may be asked to leave the course. Golf Buggies The club has 3 buggies that can be booked. If you require a buggy, you should enter this in the booking form. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01482 306840 ext 3.
