Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time. These are the terms and conditions for booking OPEN COMPETITIONS tee times using our Internet booking facility. (See below for Internet Bookings of Tee Times other than Open Competitions) Open Competitions. =================== Payment & Cancellation Policy: Full payment is required on booking. If your booking is later cancelled a refund will only be given if your cancelled time is booked and paid for by another player/s. Refunds will only be made after the date of the event. The Club have right to amend, at any time, the conditions of play Handicap Limits: Men's Open (4BBB) - 24 Seniors Opens (4BBB) - 24 Ladies Open (team of 4) - 36 Mixed Greensome - G.24 & L.36 Fairhaven Summer Series (4BBB)- G.24 Age Limits: Mens & Mixed Greensome Opens - 18yrs+ Seniors Opens - 55yrs+ Fairhaven Summer Series - 18yrs + Handicap Certificates: Must be produced when booking in with the Professional on the day of the competition. ================================================================== These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility (not Open Competitions) Payments ======== To book a tee off through our web site you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our on-line payment Process. Your card will be charged with the full green fee applicable for your booking. Any outstanding balance can be paid by cash or credit/debit card. You should report to the Secretary's Office or the Professional's Shop before beginning your round. Cancellation Policy (Non Open Competitions) =================== You can cancel your booking by contacting the office by email info@fairhavengolfclub.co.uk - cancellations will not be accepted via telephone. If you cancel your booking more than 8 weeks before your date of your visit, a full refund may be offered. If your booking is cancelled between 4 and 8 weeks before the date of your visit, 50% of the agreed green fee may be payable. If your booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks before the date of your visit 100% of the agreed green fee may be payable. Failure to Cancel Your Booking ========================= If you fail to cancel your booking, 100% of the agreed green fee & catering costs will be payable. Course Closed/Temporary Greens ============================ If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed, you will receive a full refund on the agreed green fee element of your booking. You will be charged for any food that has been consumed. Your booking can be transferred under these circumstances to an alternative date subject to availability. During the winter season there may be temporary greens in operation. If there are 9 or more temporary greens in use you will receive a 25% refund on the green fee element of your booking. You cannot transfer your booking under these circumstances. On Arrival ========== Please report to the either the Pro shop or the Secretary's office. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). You must have a handicap certificate to play on the course. Dress Code ========== Any clothing specifically manufactured for golf is acceptable. The following are therefore not permitted: denims, football/rugby tops, combat style trousers/shorts. Tailored shorts are permitted on the course with white socks that are above the ankle. Full Dress Code details can be viewed on the club website www.fairhavengolfclub.co.uk. Clubhouse ========== Smart casual clothing should be worn in the Clubhouse. Course ====== Golf shoes only, no trainers. Golf Buggies Fairhaven do not have buggies for general hire.  Any request for a buggy must be made through the Office on 01253 736741 Opt.1. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on +44 (0) 1253 736741.
