These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our online booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time online you pay by credit or debit card details using our secure your booking. You should report to the pro shop before beginning your round. If the pro shop is closed, you should go to the bar to check in. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking by contacting Alford Golf Club by email, bookings@alfordgolfclub.com or telephone, 01975 562178. Please remember your booking details will be required to confirm the cancellation. If you cancel your booking more than 48 hours before your date of play (For opens no refund will be given once the draw has been published normally 10 days prior to the event) a refund will be given. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed a full refund will be available. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. A valid handicap certificate may be requested for open competitions. Dress Code ========== Normal golf dress code applies. The following are not permitted: non-tailored shorts, football/rugby tops, tracksuits, hoodies Spikes ====== Spikes may be worn. Golf Buggies The club has 5 buggies available for hire. These must be booked in advance and can be requested on the booking form. No alcohol consumption is permitted in buggies. The Head Greenkeeper and the Starter reserve the right to withdraw use of buggies in certain weather conditions. Inappropriate conduct or unsafe conduct in buggies will result in immediate withdrawal of the buggy. No refunds will be offered when a buggy has been recalled due to misuse. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01975 562178.
