Member Terms and Conditions
These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using the
Internet booking facility at Alderley Edge Golf Club, Cheshire, England..
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. 100% payment is required at booking time.
You should report to the Pro shop before beginning your round and inform the staff of your internet booking and check in. If the Pro shop is closed, you must register at the Bar. For early morning tee times, you must check in at the Pro shop after completing your round.
To cancel your booking you must telephone the Pro shop or the Club office.
If you cancel your booking more than 2 days before your date of play,
there will be no charge made to your credit/debit card.
If you cancel your booking less than 2 days before your date of play, there
will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. However, when you call the Club, every effort will be made to find you a more suitable alternative tee time on another day.
OPEN EVENTS: Full payment will be taken at the time of booking and no refund given if you cancel less than 4 weeks from the date of play.
Failure To Cancel Your Booking
If you fail to cancel your booking and don't turn up, the booking will be treated as a cancellation.
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/debit
card and your deposit refunded.
The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable
to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such
as a family member or friend. Please ensure that they bring the booking reference details with them.
Handicap certificates are not required for general play however players MUST have the ability to play to a reasonable standard and understand the rules and etiquette of golf.This will ensure their enjoyment and that of other players on the course at the same time. Players not able to comply will be asked to leave the course.
INSURANCE: It is recommended that all players on the course have insurance to protect them from the risks associated with the game of golf.
Members, visitors and guests are asked to observe the following dress code in order to uphold the standards of the Club
On the course: Jeans, trainers, tracksuits, tracksuit bottoms, cargo trousers, football shirts and collarless T shirts are not permitted.
Shorts must be tailored and may be worn with short sports socks.
Recognised golf shoes must be worn.
In the clubhouse: Smart casual dress is allowed at all times. Clean attire is encouraged and worn golf attire that is wet, muddy or sweaty should be changed out of before entering the bar areas of the clubhouse.
Spikes may be either metal or soft but please take care as some areas of the course are slippery when damp.
Mobile Phones: Must be kept on 'silent' mode whilst on Club premises. The use of mobile phones for making or receiving calls on the golf course is not permitted except in the case of an emergency.
