Green Fees Rates

CLUB GREENFEE INFORMATION:
Summer Rate 2010 1st Apr to 30th September 2010
The 2010 weekday adult green fee rate is £75 (GBP)
The 2010 weekend adult green fee rate is £100 (GBP)

Winter Rate 1st Oct 2009 to 31st Mar 2010
(Not available between 24th Dec 09 & 3rd Jan 10)
The weekday adult green fee rate is £45 (GBP)

Terms and Conditions

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. We will take a £20.00 (GBP) per head deposit initially and then 30 days before your visit we will require you to confirm final numbers by e-mail or telephone at which point we will take the balance due. If you book within 4 weeks of the day you wish to play the full amount will be taken from yor card. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking on our web site by entering your unique ref number. You may also cancel by phone. If you cancel your booking more than 3 months before your date of play, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel your booking less than 3 months before your date of play, you will lose your deposit. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking within 7 days of the booking you will not receive any refund and full payment will be taken. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your green fee or a voucher to use on another day free of charge, subject to availability. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= Handicap certificates are required for general play as this is an Open Championship Final Qualifying course and as such players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and those players on the course at the same time. Dress Code ========== Normal Golf Club dress codes apply. Therefore, players are expected to maintain a high standard of dress on the course and are required to wear smart conventional golfing attire with spike or dimpled golf shoes. Collarless tee shirts, jeans, track or shell suits, trainers or open sandals are not permitted on the Golf Course. Mock / Turtle neck Shirts may be worn. Men’s tailored shorts may be worn with knee length hose or white sport socks. Spikes ====== Metal or soft spikes are permitted - please take care as some areas of the course are slippery in damp conditions. Open Competitions ======= CONDITIONS AND REGULATIONS OF COMPETITION 1. The competitors with the highest stableford score will win the respective competition. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and Nearest the Pin in each competition. 2. Trophies will remain the property of S. & A. Golf Club on permanent display in the Clubhouse. 3. Entries are open to bona fide members of recognised Golf Clubs. ALL competitors in the Men’s Seniors Open MUST be aged 55 years and over on the day of the tournament. 4. Any change of handicap must be notified to the Registration Desk on the day of the competition prior to play. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. 5. The Committee reserve the right to penalise competitors by 2 strokes if up to 5 minutes late on the 1st tee and disqualify players over 5 minutes late. 6. In the case of a tie, the Rules of the Lancashire Union of Golf Clubs will apply. 7. Catering facilities will be available on the day. 8. Competitors will be made Temporary Members of the Club for the day of the competition. 9. Casual dress is acceptable in the Clubhouse until 7:00 p.m. after which time a jacket and tie is required except in the Front Lounge and Ryder Bar. 10. All Prize Winners must attend the Evening Presentation.

The club has 6 buggies that can be booked. If you require a buggy,
please contact the Secretary's Office or Professional Shop.

Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc

If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these
requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club
directly by phone on 01704 578000.

You are guided through a 5-stage process, with the current stage indicated at the top of each page. Your booking is only confirmed if you proceed to the last stage.
