Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our internet on-line booking facility. Payments: ======== To book a tee off through our web site you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our on-line payment process. Your card will be charged 50% of the Green fees due. No further charge will be made until you turn up to play, when you can choose to pay the balance by cash or credit/debit card in the Professional's Shop before beginning your round. OPEN EVENTS: We take the full payment at the time of booking. Seniors Events are aged 55 and over - valid active handicap certificates must be produced in the Professional's Shop on arrival. Cancellation Policy: =================== You can cancel your booking on our web site by entering your unique reference number.If you cancel your bookings more than 4 weeks before your date of play, you will not incur any additional charge. If you cancel your booking less than 4 weeks before your date of play, you will loose your deposit. Course Closed: ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your green fee or a voucher to use on another day free of charge, subject to availability. Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= Valid active handicap certificates are not required for general play, however this is an Open Championship Final Qualifying course and as such, players must have the ability to play to a reasonable standard to ensure their enjoyment and those players on the course at the same time. OPEN EVENTS: Valid active handicap certificates are required by all players in all Open Competitions. Dress Code ========== Any clothing specifically manufactured for golf is acceptable. The following are therefore not permitted: denims,football/rugby tops, etc. Tailored shorts are permitted on the course with either white ankle or knee length sports socks. Clubhouse ========== Smart casual clothing should be worn in the Clubhouse. Summer months - Shorts are permitted in the Clubhouse but not in the Dining Romm after 8.00pm. Spikes/Soft Spikes may also only be worn in the Clubhouse ba rareas providing access is gained via the western external staircase. Course ====== Metal or soft spikes are permitted - please take care as some areas of the course may be slippery in damp conditions. Golf Buggies The Club has two Golf Buggies for hire at £25 per round or £40 per day which can be pre-booked with the Club Professional (01253 722432). Motorised buggies are allowed on the course for players with a disability on signing the SAOLGC Buggy Policy prior to play and may be used in Open Competitions. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on +44 (0) 1253 723597.
