Visitor Online Tee Time Reservation Service Welcome to the The Royal Burgess Golfing Society of Edinburgh Online Tee Time Reservation Service. This service allows you to book a tee time at our golf course online and get instant on-screen and email confirmation of your booking. Click here to book a tee time. Green Fee Rates The club has standard green fee rates for weekdays and weekends, and we also offer savings for certain times of the day for online bookings, particularly if you are prepared to avoid the busiest times, or if you book at the last minute. The price quoted is the price you pay. There is no booking fee. Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time. These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Please note: On occasions we may have to move your time due to unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you by email in advance and hope that this will not inconvenience you. However, please contact the Proshop 0131 339 6474 if you would like to alter any such time. Payment ======= To book a tee time on-line, you will have to enter your credit or debit card details to pay the full green fees up front, using our secure on-line payment process. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking by calling the Proshop directly on 0131 339 6474. If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play, you will receive the full prepayment of green fees back to your credit/ debit card. If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance, there will be a charge of 50% of the green fee made to your credit/ debit card. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), a full refund will be given Booking Transferable ==================== The Booking is completely Transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have experience of playing golf such as already holding a recognised handicap or players who can prove they have more than a basic understanding of etiquette and playing knowledge to fit in with other golf course users on any given day. Dress Code ========== A normal, standard, smart/ casual dress code applies. The following are therefore not permitted: collarless shirts/ vests, football colours or shorts without pockets, combat trousers, denim jeans Spikes ====== Spikes may be worn. Golf Buggies The club has 8 buggies that can be booked. If you require a buggy please contact The Pro Shop on 0131 339 6474. Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 0131 339 2075.
