Green Fee Rates Although Montrose Golf Links has standard green fee rates for weekdays and weekends, we offer significant savings for certain times of the day, particularly if you are prepared to avoid the busiest times, or if you book at the last minute. The price quoted is the price you pay. There is no booking fee. Mats must be used from fairways and first cut of rough on the 1562 and Broomfield Course from Thursday 1st November 2018 to Thursday 21st March 2019. Payment Options The following credit and debit cards are acceptable: Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time. TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. Bookings ======= Montrose Golf Links Limited (MGLL) requests payment in full at the time of booking for all tee times. MGLL require confirmation of those playing golf and, where applicable, catering requirements, at least 10 days before your visit, either by e-mail or telephone. If we do not receive any confirmation, the original booking numbers for tee times and food requirements will stand, and that is what will be provided on the day. The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you subsequently be unable to play, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Payment ======= For bookings we accept all major Debit/Credit Cards with the exception of AMEX. Cheques should be made payable to “Montrose Golf Links Limited”. To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or debit card details using our secure on-line payment process. If you book via telephone your credit/debit card details will be taken for payment purposes and will then be destroyed in compliance with the Data Protection Act. Regardless of how your booking is made, full prepayment will be taken from your card/nominated chequing account. When you arrive at Montrose Golf Links you should report to the Professional Shop when the details of any other services you require or have requested will be confirmed. Open Competitions - If you are entering an Open Competition full prepayment will be taken from your nominated payment method. Please note that the Tournament Committee reserve the right to amend the draw within a 15 min period either side of a booked tee time. Competition entry fees are non-refundable after the publication of the draw. Cancellation Policy =================== All payments made will be applied to bookings as they are taken. In the event you have to cancel your golf booking and this is done 14 days prior to play, MGLL will be happy to move your booking to another date (this date must be within the same season and is transferable to another party) or refund your payment in part or whole, i.e., should you wish some of your tee times to be allocated to another date, we would reimburse the remainder. Cancellation of your booking less than 14 days before your visit will usually result in loss of payment. MGLL will make exceptions to this rule at its discretion. Bad Weather Policy ================== If courses become unplayable, they may be closed on the authority of the Course Manager or the senior member of Green Staff on duty. If visiting golfers decide to abandon their round, rather than wait for play to restart, refunds will not apply. If play does not resume, visitors will be offered the chance to reschedule their game. If they cannot reschedule, a full refund will be offered. Visitors who have not started their round will be made aware of any course closure. Reasonable endeavours will be made to reschedule, either later that day or the following day, depending on availability, but those who cannot reschedule will be given a refund. Dress Code ========== Golfers must wear shoes specifically designed for golf, only Juniors may wear trainers. Smart casual dress is expected both on the golf course and in the clubhouse. Replica football/rugby shirts,gents sleeveless shirts,vests,cut off jeans,non-tailored or camouflage shorts are not acceptable. Winter Play =========== Mats to be used from the fairway and first cut of rough from Thursday 1st November 2018 to Thursday 21st March 2019. Hollowcoring ============= Hollowing of our 1562 Course greens will take place on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th September 2019. Golf Buggies Montrose Golf Links has 5 buggies that can be booked.
