Visitors will be asked for debit or credit card information during the process of your booking. This is a secure measure to ensure your booking is confirmed. PAYMENT IS STILL REQUIRED ON THE DAY OF YOUR BOOKING IN THE PROSHOP.  Please note that failure to cancel any unwanted booking may result in a charge being levied. GREENFEE MESSAGE: Although the club has standard green fee rates for weekdays and weekends, we offer significant savings for certain times of the day, particularly if you are prepared to avoid the busiest times, or if you book at the last minute. Terms and Conditions Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time. These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our Internet booking facility. By booking a tee time you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Payment ======= All visitor bookings made via this booking facility must be guaranteed with a valid credit/debit card. We will not take payment from your card for the round(s) prior to the day. Payment will be taken on the day from the player(s)in person.**Only in the event of course closure by Long Sutton Golf Club shall any credit be made**. You must bring your reference number with you on the day as proof of booking. We reserve the right to alter tee times without notice due to circumstances outside our control. (e.g. bad weather) When you turn up for your round of golf, you can choose to pay by cash instead of credit/debit card. You should report to the Pro shop before commencing your round. If the Pro shop is closed, you should pay for your round at the clubhouse bar. Cancellation Policy =================== You can cancel your booking on the web site by entering you unique ref number. If you cancel your booking more than 1 week before your date of play there will be no charge made to your credit/debit card. If you cancel your booking less than 1 week in advance there will be a charge of 50% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. If you cancel your booking less than 24hrs in advance there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Failure To Cancel Your Booking ============================== If you fail to cancel your booking there will be a charge of 100% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card. Course Closed ============= If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), no charge will be made to your credit/debit card. Booking Transferable ==================== The booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such as a family member or friend. Handicaps ========= This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. Dress Code ========== Normal EGU dress code applies. The following are therefore not permitted: denims, shorts, football/rugby tops. Spikes ====== Long Sutton is a soft spike course. Pace of Play ====== You must keep up with the pace of play on the course. Our course marshals are there to keep play moving so everyone can enjoy their round. (A maximum of 4.5 hours per round is expected). General ====== All visitors must agree to abide by the rules of Long Sutton Golf Club and to follow any policies that may be in force. We also request that all players adhere to the Rules of The Game, as laid down by the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, in particular the section on etiquette. You must check in at The Pro Shop a minimum of 15 minutes before your round is due to commence. We reserve the right to remove you from the course if you have not adhered to any of the rules. No refunds will be given. Unless within the ** marked above. We reserve the right at all times to pair groups together to make a 4 ball. We reserve the right to change any part or all of our terms and conditions at any time.
