Carr Golf Group and BRS Golf bring GolfNow.ie to Ireland
Carr Golf Group and BRS Golf have partnered with GolfNow.com to bring the world’s largest tee-time distribution channel to Ireland and to launch a new tee-time booking service designed specifically for Irish golfers.
The new site www.GolfNow.ie will leverage all the capabilities of U.S.-based GolfNow.com, the world’s largest online tee-times distributor, and a service managed and operated by Golf Channel.
The development of the site was made possible by the collaboration between Carr Golf Group, one of the leading names in the Irish golf market, and BRS Golf, the No. 1 tee-time management and online booking system in the U.K. and Ireland. The GolfNow.com platform, which has sold more than 6 million rounds of golf in theUnited Statesthis year, now will make it possible for Irish golfers to book tee times at an impressive list of golf clubs throughout Ireland via www.GolfNow.ie.
BRS Golf is ‘delighted’
Dr. Brian Smith of BRS Golf thinks this kind of proven marketing technology is just what the Irish golf market needs to leverage new business: “We’re delighted to be working closely with GolfNow and the Carr Golf Group. Their success in theUSspeaks for itself and I have no doubt their expertise and marketing power will have a similar impact inIreland. ThroughBRS, customers can easily identify quiet times and put these up for sale through GolfNow with minimal management overhead. Clubs stay in control of pricing and availability and there can be no double bookings.”
Building on success
Carr Golf Group already has already developed an online booking service for international golfing audiences looking to book rounds at the top courses in Ireland, and Marketing Manager Mick Steele is looking forward to similar success at a more local level with www.GolfNow.ie “Together withBRS Golf, www.GolfNow.ie will dovetail very neatly into the Irish golf market for golfers that want to find suitable tee times at competitive rates in their own region or locality. We believe this will be hugely beneficial to all those clubs and courses that want to market their green fees and increase this vital form of revenue.”
Making GolfNow a leading brand in the Irish marketplace
Mick Steele continues: “An intensive marketing campaign this summer including television, radio, internet and print advertising has helped drive golfers to the GolfNow platform. The local www.golfnow.ie service will revolutionise how Irish golf courses sell green fees. The state of the art software that drives GolfNow allows for yield management of tee times, meaning that the green fee is set according to factors including date and time, weather and availability. Clubs that have joined the www.GolfNow.ie service have grown exponentially their online bookings by offering the right product at the right price to local golfers, and we are looking forward to working with the numerousBRS Golf client courses as well now.”
