Welcome to the Hexham Golf Club Internet Tee Time Reservation Service. This service allows you to book a tee time at our golf course over the Internet and get instant on-screen and email confirmation of your booking.

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a tee time.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

These are the terms and conditions for booking tee times using our internet booking facility.

Payment
=======
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit or
debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.
A 10% deposit will be taken at the time of booking and your card details will be held by us as insurance but we will not process the balance until you turn up to play.

When you turn up for your round of golf, you can choose
to pay by cash instead of credit card. You should report to the
Pro's Shop before beginning your round. If the Pro's Shop is closed,
you should call in after your round is complete.

FOR OPEN COMPETITIONS - FULL payment is required on booking.

Cancellation Policy
===================
You can cancel your booking on the web site by entering your unique
ref number.

If you cancel your booking less than 3 days in advance, there
will be a charge of 50% of the green fee made to your credit/debit card.

FOR OPEN COMPETITIONS - Your booking may only be cancelled by telephoning the office on 01434 603072 ext 2 and a refund will only be given if your cancelled time is booked and paid for by another player/s. If you are unable to play we encourage you to find replacement players.

Failure To Cancel Your Booking
==============================
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of
the green fee made to your credit/debit card.

Course Closed
=============
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being
closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your booking.

Booking Transferable
====================
The Booking is completely transferable. Therefore, should you be unable
to make your tee time, you can offer the tee time to someone else such
as a family member or friend.

Handicaps
=========
This facility is only available to golfers who have a handicap index of 28.4 or
less (men) or 36.4 or less (ladies). If you don't have a handicap index, you
must be able to play to an equivalent standard.

FOR OPEN COMPETITIONS - 
Singles Opens - G 28.4 HI, L 36.4 HI
4BBB Opens (Men's Seniors, Ladies, Mixed) - G 28.4 HI, L 36.4 HI, both 85% x CH allowance + Course Rating adjustment for Mixed

Handicap Index Certificates or CDH card must be produced when registering for Opens (in the Spike Bar of the Clubhouse on the day of the competition).

We reserve the right to change your tee time but any changes will be communicated to you immediately.

Age Limits
==========
FOR OPEN COMPETITIONS
Men's, Ladies, & Mixed - 18 yrs +
Seniors Opens - 60 yrs +
Youth Open - U21 on the day of the open

Dress Code
==========
Normal EGU/ELGA dress code applies. The following are NOT permitted on the course: tracksuits, blue denim jeans, football/rugby/cricket replica shirts, sports shorts, trainers (except for trial junior members), hats/caps worn incorrectly, trousers tucked into socks. The dress code for the clubhouse is smart/casual at all times (hats/caps are not allowed in the clubhouse)

Spikes
====== 
Metal or Soft Spikes are permitted - please take care as some areas of the course are slippy in damp conditions and metal spikes are encouraged in winter and for damp conditions.

Golf Buggies

The club has 6 buggies available at £25 per round, £40 per day.

Bookings of Golf Clubs, Trolleys, Caddies, Restaurant, etc

If you require to book golf clubs, trolleys, caddies, restaurant, etc you should enter these requirements in the booking form or alternatively you can contact the club directly by phone on 01434 603072.
