Abergele Golf Club is set in the parkland of Gwrych Castle and boasts of its picturesque setting and seascape. The course is maintained to the highest possible standards and all the greens have been reconstructed to the latest USGA standards. This ensures that players are able to play on them throughout the year (other than in frost conditions).
The Club has a very competitive green fee rate and is a very popular venue for visiting parties. There is a wide range of Professional facilities available from individual lessons from our in house Professional Iain Runcie, group lessons, indoor teaching/swing area, large putting green, full practice ground etc. The clubhouse has excellent facilities for all sizes of parties with full catering or snack menus available.

Internet Terms and Conditions

These are the terms and conditions have been set up to avoid miss use of this facility and in no way are they intended to penalise or spoil the enjoyment of our genuine clients. Please contact the Club if you need advice on any of these conditions.

Payment:
To book a tee time on-line you will have to enter your credit/debit card details using our secure on-line payment process.  Your card details will be held by us as insurance.
When you turn up for your round of golf, you should report to the Professional’s shop before beginning your round.

Cancellation Policy:
You can cancel or add to your booking on our web site by entering your unique reference number. You may also cancel by phone.
If you cancel your booking more than 28 days before your date of play, you will receive a full refund of your green fee deposit. Deposits for cancellations less than 28 days before your date of play are non-refundable.
If you fail to cancel your booking, there will be a charge of 100% of
the green fee made to your credit/debit card.

Open Competitions:
Ladies 36 Handicap ~ Men 28 Handicap (7/8 handicap difference for team of 3 events and mixed Am Am) (Betterball 3/4)
Prize winners will require an active handicap certificate.
If you are entering an open competition the full price will be deducted from your credit/debit card immediately.  Refunds will only be granted if notice is given more than one month from date of competition.

Course Closed:
If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the course being closed (e.g. bad weather), you will receive a full refund of your green fee.

Handicaps: Competition Entrants
Please note:-
All prize winners will require an Active Handicap certificates, all players may enter with an inactive Handicap but may not receive a prize. Any team event entered all players must have an active Handicap certificate to win a prize.

Handicap certificates may be requested.

Dress Rules

The general dress rule in the Club is smart casual wear, including jeans and trainers.
Prizewinners are expected to wear a jacket and tie when attending a presentation.

On the Course players are expected to wear golf attire. Jeans and trainer are not acceptable wear on the course. Tailored shorts may be worn with ankle socks and may be worn in the lounge area up to 8:00. Wearing of hats back to front is not acceptable.

Players who do not conform to these basic rules will be asked to leave. The Committees decision on this matter is final.

BUGGY Hire, PLEASE NOTE BUGGIES CAN ONLY BE BOOKED THROUGH THE PRO SHOP
